New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra narrowly escaped on Thursday morning when the vehicles of her convoy collided. The incident occurred near Hapur on National Highway 24 which connects Delhi to Lucknow. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident.

According to the information, Priyanka Gandhi’s car was heading for Rampur at a high speed, then the car became hot and smoke started coming out. Because of this, the driver suddenly applied the brake. Due to the sudden stop of the vehicle, the vehicles of the supporters who were trailing in the convoy collided.

According to Congress’s Uttar Pradesh unit chief Ajay Kumar Lallu, Priyanka was going to Rampur on January 26 to meet the family of the martyred farmer during a tractor rally. The vehicles running in his convoy collided. However, no one has suffered serious injuries.

Ajay Kumar said, “We have come to know that Navneet, a farmer who came from Canada and was peacefully participating in the protests, was shot dead by the police and lost his life during a tractor rally.” Priya Gandhi will meet her family in Rampur today. “
