Sampurna Constitutes a New and Diverse Executive Body

New Delhi: Sampurna constituted a new Executive Body to redefine organisation’s focus for the next few years. The new body comprises of people from diverse walks of life united with a common vision to strive for a just, equitable and sustainable future. The founder of Sampurna, Dr Shobha Vijender nominated Smt Asha Jain as the working president.

The young and energetic Naitonal General Secretaries Mr. Goldy Bhardwaj and Ms Tanvi Grover have been nominated to spread the work of the organisation, instilled with a new vision and greater enthusiasm, around the country and the globe.

Sampurna NGO is a registered organization working to empower adolescent girls for the last 27 years. It has been instrumental in bringing widescale transformation in people’s lives through its projects in various parts of the country. During this long tenure’ more than 5000 cases of domestic violence have been solved. More than 10,000 have been skilled in different trades.

It has been a pioneer in imparting knowledge to the spirited individuals aspiring to build their own organization. More than 100 volunteer efforts have been shaped by Sampurna in a full-fledged manner.

During the pandemic, Sampurna led a community assistance programme, providing came cooked meals and ration kits to thousands in need. It also spearheaded a unique initiative to provide essential services to the senior citizens at their doorstep. An army of volunteers came forward to make this mission highly successful. It also provided immediate to long-term support to community during the pandemic, including setting up well equipped Covid care centres.
