Second oxygen express reached Delhi with 120 metric tons of liquid oxygen

New Delhi: Continuing its journey of providing relief to people by transporting liquid medical oxygen (LMO) to various states across the country, Indian Railways has so far delivered 1094 MT LMOs in 74 tankers in various states across the country. 19 Oxygen Express trains have already completed their journey and 2 more Oxygen Express trains loaded with oxygen are carrying 61.46 MT (approx) LMOs in 4 tankers.

This is an attempt by the Indian Railways to deliver as many LMOs as possible in the shortest possible time to the requesting states.

The second Oxygen Express carrying a total of 120 metric tonnes of LMO has arrived in Delhi today. The third Oxygen Express has already run from Angul to Delhi carrying 30.86 MT LMO.

The first oxygen express carrying 63.6 MT LMO from Angul reached Telangana.

There were 61.46 metric tonnes of LMOs for Haryana and Delhi and Oxygen Express trains are on the way.

So far, Indian Railways has carried over 1094 MT of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO). Of this, Maharashtra (174 MT), Uttar Pradesh (430.51 MT), Madhya Pradesh (156.96 MT), Delhi (190 MT), Haryana (79 MT) and Telangana (63.6 MT) ) Oxygen is supplied.
