Shiv Sena’s Saamana reveals reason behind NCP chief’s resignation, backs Supriya Sule

New Delhi: Uddhav Thackeray’s party Shiv Sena has alleged that NCP chief Sharad Pawar resigned from his post as several leaders of his party were on the verge of joining BJP. In Saamana, UT Sena said, ‘He has one foot in BJP’. The Saamana article further stated that “Pawar is a socialist, secular leader and he does not want that stigma at the end of his career.”

Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena criticized Ajit Pawar and accused him of only wanting to become the chief minister at any cost. Shiv Sena also praised Supriya Sule and in a way supported Sule to succeed Pawar at the national level.

According to Saamana, Pawar has neutralized any possible attempt by Ajit Pawar’s camp to join the BJP by resigning from his post. Shiv Sena has also praised Jayant Patil.
