Sidhu retaliates, joins dharna of guest teachers of Delhi outside CM Kejriwal’s residence

Hitting out at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu on Sunday joined the protest by guest teachers of the Delhi government outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residents. The teachers were protesting demanding permanent jobs.

Kejriwal had joined the protest of contractual teachers in Punjab on November 27.

Addressing the protesting teachers, Sidhu said, “Dear Kejriwal, you are giving lectures in Punjab but hiding your problems.

Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal had assured protesting teachers in Punjab that he would deal with their issues on priority when the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed in the state.

Introducing himself as the younger brother of the protesting teachers, Kejriwal had said that he is the son of a teacher.

There are allegations against Arvind Kejriwal that he was fueling the protest in Punjab but did not appoint regular teachers in Delhi.

Navjot Sidhu’s visit to Delhi on Sunday is being seen as an attempt to counter Arvind Kejriwal’s move to lure unemployed and contractual teachers from Punjab, who were waiting for jobs.
