In a shocking development, actor Sushmita Sen took to her IG today to announce that she had suffered a heart attack a few days ago. Though she did not mention whether the attack was minor or major, she said that an angioplasty has been done and a stent has been placed. (to open a blocked artery)
The actor, posting an image with her dad made the announcement on insta and said, “Keep your heart happy & courageous, and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most Shona”
Many of her well-wishers posted wishes for her to get soon in the comments section, while also adding that she will come out of it earlier than expected. Describing her as an ‘inspiration’, fans also advised her to take it slow and take good care of herself.
Sushmita is all set to make a comeback with her OTT series Aarya Season 3 in June this year.
