Kochi (Kerala): Key accused in the Kerala gold smuggling case, Swapna Suresh, said that she has submitted evidence of anti-national activities carried out by CPI(M) MLA and former minister KT Jaleel while she was a minister to his lawyer. These documents will be filed in the court today (Thursday) along with the affidavit, he said while talking to the media.

Swapna said that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is scared of the case. The system is being rigged, now he trusts the Enforcement Directorate (ED). “I have full faith in ED as ED will do its job properly. CM is under a lot of stress. He is scared. He used a system to manipulate the system. The crime branch is going through the evidences submitted by me. wants to know about,” she said.

Earlier, Suresh had alleged that the chief minister was “harassing” her as she was trying to bring out the truth. Speaking to media persons, Suresh said, “The Kerala CM, who is supposed to protect the public, has made me starve to death now. He is troubling me as I am trying to bring out the truth. He just can’t work for his daughter. He has to treat all of us as daughters.”

On July 5, 2020, 30 kg of 24-karat gold worth Rs 14.82 crore was seized from a diplomatic bag by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs at Thiruvananthapuram airport, which was to be delivered to the UAE Consulate in Thiruvananthapuram. .
