Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu arrested in a corruption case in Andhra

New Delhi: Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu was arrested around 6 am from RK Function Hall in Gnanapuram in Nandyala town of Andhra Pradesh in an alleged corruption case.

According to a report published by news agency PTI, Deputy Superintendent of Police M Dhanunjudu of the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of the CID issued the notice to Chandrababu Naidu.

“This is to inform you that you have been arrested at 6 am in the morning at R K Function Hall, Gnanapuram, Moolasagaram, Nandyala City and this is a non-bailable offence,” the notice said.

According to Hindustan Times report, DIG Raghurami Reddy said that Naidu has been arrested in the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation scam.

As per PTI report, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has been arrested under relevant sections of the IPC, including sections 120B (criminal conspiracy), 420 (fraudulent and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) and 465 (forgery). ) is included.

Apart from this, Andhra Pradesh CID has also imposed Prevention of Corruption Act against him. The notice was given under CrPC section 50 (1) (2).
