Terrorist attack on CRPF’s patrolling party in Srinagar, 2 soldiers martyred, 2 injured

New Delhi: CRPF’s patrolling party was attacked by terrorists in Lavipora area of ​​Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. The militants fired swiftly on the convoy of the soldiers, in which 4 soldiers were injured.

The injured soldiers have been admitted to the nearest hospital. According to Janakari, two jawans succumbed during treatment while the condition of two remains critical.

CRPF DIG Kishore Prasad told the agency, at around 3.45 am, a patrol unit was attacked by militants. The area is sealed. A CRPF jawan lost his life and injured three others. It was a hit and run attack. Soon they will either be arrested or killed.

After the incident, security forces have cordoned off the entire area and started a search operation.

IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar has confirmed the attack. He said that two CRPF jawans were killed and two injured in the terror attack. He said that terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba is involved in this attack.
