Industrialist Anand Mahindra has once again captured the attention of social media. He has helped a young street magician in Nainital whose performance is winning hearts online.
Mahindra shared a video on Instagram of a boy named Sahil entertaining passersby with a spectacular magic act on a street in the Uttarakhand hill town. Dressed in a gray T-shirt and jeans, the young man performed with complete confidence in front of a crowd that constantly gathered around him.
Using simple props like a metal bowl, a stick, a coin, and small red balls, Sahil performed a series of tricks that left the audience awestruck. He made objects appear and disappear with ease, engaging the audience with his playful presentation and sense of humor.
A highlight of this act was that he ‘found’ a coin in a spectator’s shoe, ear, and nose, causing laughter among the audience. Mahindra was impressed by his stage presence and confidence.
Sharing the clip, Mahindra wrote, “This boy is so talented. Is he still working on the streets of Nainital? I want to not only help him with his studies but also encourage his interest in magic. Why can’t he become one of the greatest magicians in the world? Can someone help me contact him and his parents?”
The appeal quickly gained popularity online, with many users praising Mahindra’s willingness to support the child and offering to help find him.
One user replied, “Sir, I’ll try to find out. I have relatives in Haldwani; I’ll contact them and get information.”
Another shared information about the boy’s background, writing, “Real Place: Sahil’s family is originally from the state of Rajasthan. Where do they currently live: They currently live in a rented house in the Ramnagar area of Nainital district in Uttarakhand.”
