New Delhi: Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar on Friday (March 10) appeared before a Delhi court in a money laundering case. When asked about the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia, he said, “Truth has prevailed, and Arvind Kejriwal will be next.”
Earlier, in a 5-page letter, the conman had alleged that Sisodia “plundered commissions” in every department in which he was working as Delhi’s deputy chief minister.
“For them (AAP leaders Kejriwal, Sisodia and Jain) only commission matters,” wrote Chandrashekhar, lodged in the national capital’s Mandoli jail.
Chandrashekhar had also referred to a ‘tablet scam’ and claimed that he had bought tablets from a Chinese company, which the Kejriwal-led AAP government had decided to award the tender to someone else for an additional 20 per cent commission.
Sukesh Chandrasekhar had claimed that CM Kejriwal and Jain had ‘convinced’ him to bring donations from the Middle East and South India by singing the famous song ‘Yeh Dosti Hum Nahi Todenge’ from the film Sholay on his birthday.
Earlier, the Delhi Prison Department raided the cell of Sukesh Chandrasekhar and recovered slippers and two expensive jeans worth more than one lakh rupees.
