22 September 2021, Wednesday: The UK has amended its travel policy to include Covidshield as an approved vaccine after India warned of reciprocal action. However, Indians vaccinated with Covishield will still need to be quarantined due to certification issues. The UK said it is working with India to extend the recognition of vaccine certification to people vaccinated by a relevant public health body in India.
