UP helped most street vendors in the country during the Corona pandemic

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is standing with the poor and needy even during the Corona period. He is fighting the battle of Corona, taking care of the poor even in the second wave of Corona. He did not implement complete lockdown in the state to save life and livelihood. Whereas in other states complete lockdown was implemented. CM Yogi is also helping the most affected street vendors in the lockdown due to Corona. Due to which UP is on the first position in the country in the PM Street Vendors Self-Reliant Fund (PM Svanidhi) scheme.

CM Yogi did not impose a complete lockdown keeping in mind the daily food earners, street shopkeepers, daily laborers and workers working in factories during the disaster. Industries were also allowed to operate in the Corona curfew, so that the life of the people along with the livelihood could be saved. After this, CM Yogi has proved to be the first in helping those who earn daily food. Out of 9,56,657 applications in the country, 6,33,920 applications have been approved and 5,71,821 applicants have been given loans under the PM Street Vendors Atmanirbhar Nidhi (PM Swanidhi) scheme of the central government.

On the second number, 3,52,128 applications have been approved in Telangana and 3,11,143 people have been given loans. Similarly, out of 4,81,820 applications in Madhya Pradesh, 3,44,551 applications were approved and 3,16,609 people have been given loans. In Maharashtra, out of 4,15,486 applications, 2,02,790 applications were approved and 1,48,181 people have been given loans. SUDA Director Umesh Pratap Singh said that on the instructions of CM Yogi, efforts are being made to benefit maximum number of street vendors. It is our endeavor that as soon as possible people get the benefit of the scheme.

Five of the top ten municipal corporations in the country belong to UP
Five of the top ten municipal corporations of the country are from UP under PM Svanidhi Yojana. In this, out of 36,764 Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation, 27,818 loans have been approved and 26,524 people have been given loans. In Nizamabad Municipal Corporation, 15,434 applications out of 17,688 have been approved. While 26,524 people have been given loans. After this, out of 27,339 applications, 17,575 have been approved in Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation from UP and 14,866 people have been given loans. Similarly, Aligarh Municipal Corporation is on the fourth number, Bareilly Municipal Corporation on the fifth, Khammam Municipal Corporation on the sixth, North Delhi Municipal Corporation on the seventh, Moradabad Municipal Corporation on the eighth, Karimnagar Municipal Corporation on the ninth and Saharanpur Municipal Corporation at number 10.

Security free loan facility up to 10 thousand is available under the Svanidhi scheme. 7 percent interest subsidy on regular payment and Rs 1,200 per annum cash back on digital transactions. Apart from this, there is also a plan to facilitate getting the loan next time and give a loan of large amount on timely payment. PM Svanidhi Yojana was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 1 last year. To enable the street vendors and street vendors to start their work afresh, a loan of up to Rs 10,000 is provided by the central government. Swanidhi Yojana is also known as Prime Minister Street Vendors Self-Reliant Fund.
