Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has transformed itself into a ‘best state’ for investment. Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy said, I urge all investors to contribute immensely for the development of a state with ‘big ambitions’ which is also taking big action.
As the state of Uttar Pradesh began the Global Investors Summit on Friday, several dignitaries including Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy, Jaiveer Singh, UP Tourism Ministers Mukesh Meshram, Avnish Awasthi participated in a regional session on ‘Tourism’. – Leveraging a Cultural Heritage for Modern and Progressive Uttar Pradesh’ on Friday.
“With confidence that UP will be the best state for investment in the world in days to come, I salute the commitment and efforts of the UP government and congratulate them for the success of the summit,” Reddy said.
A panel discussion amongst prominent members of the hospitality and tourism sector, including Vivek Shukla, Lalit Hospitality Group, industry leader of India’s hospitality industry, G Ashok Kumar, Director General, National Mission for Clean Ganga, Santosh Kutty, CEO Mahindra Holiday Resorts, ML Srivastava is included. Additional Chief Secretary Tourism Sikkim, along with Sonia Kripalani, CEO, The Unknown Planet, among others, discussed how UP changed its perception at the national level in a significant way.
One of the panelists said, “UP is developing today and we should tap the spiritual tourism potential of the state as it now has airports, convenient travel options as well as new religious places coming up.”
Presenting their views and suggestions, the panellists termed UP as ‘God’s own state’ and lauded the Yogi Adityanath government’s efforts towards promoting tourism potential in the state.
Jaiveer Singh assured on the occasion that all the provisions, facilities, subsidies and incentives announced in the UP Tourism Policy 2022 will be fulfilled as the Yogi Adityanath government is committed to boost the tourism potential of the state.
“UP has set a target of attracting investment worth Rs 10 lakh crore, however MoUs worth about Rs 33 lakh crore have been signed which are aimed at better law and order system, end of corruption and double engine development led by the government testify to. PM Modi,” Singh said.
