The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that the main reason for the decrease in the rate of inflation in November 2022 is the fall in the prices of food items, basic metals, textiles, chemicals and chemical products, paper and products made from it. The lowest level of inflation before November 2022 was in February 2021 when the Wholesale Price Index inflation stood at 4.83 per cent.
