Know Pappu of Maharashtra? Why Shiv Sena MLAs called Aaditya Thackeray pappu of Maharashtra

MUMBAI: After yesterday’s uproar between Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s camp and opposition legislators in the Maharashtra Assembly, ruling party legislators on Thursday mocked Aaditya Thackeray by pasting a cartoon of Aaditya Thackeray on the poster, in which Aditya can be seen sitting on a horse, That too in the opposite direction.

It was written in the poster that Aaditya Thackeray is Param Pujya (P.E.) Yuvraj of Maharashtra (He is called Pappu of Maharashtra). Further, it accused Aaditya of being adamant on contesting 151 seats in the 2014 assembly elections, which broke the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance.

Aaditya Thackeray replied, “Whatever they are doing is not Ram Rajya, not Ravan Rajya. I feel sorry for them because they are sad for not getting the promises of 40 people. They can’t stop us, we will continue our fight.”

Meanwhile, the Shinde camp poster mentions several direct taunts against Junior Thackeray. It is written in it – He did nothing while handling the environmental portfolio sitting at home. And after the loss of the government, waves of tour have arisen. He challenges us to contest once again, when elected from a constituency that has only one mayor and two MLCs from the party.

It further said, “You dismissed Shiv Sainiks after getting chairs (CM and minister portfolio). After losing governance, you are roaming from door to door. Citizens will not be fooled by your fake tears, your liars. Will not forget the tales of promise.”

Finally, the poster reads that ‘The Yuvraaj’ has lost his directorial debut by highlighting the word ‘Disha’ by taunting him indirectly about his association with Bollywood.

However, Aaditya Thackeray along with his cadre MLAs also protested in the assembly. Shinde shouted slogans against the MLAs, saying “hit the shoes on the traitors of Maharashtra, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is the mother of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).”
