Ajinkya Rahane replaces Virat Kohli as Test captain: Bishan Singh Bedi

New Delhi: Despite the absence of Virat Kohli and the injury to the main player, the way Ajinkya Rahane led Team India and won it is a commendable compliment. Especially, after losing the first match in the series badly, India won the series 2–1.

Meanwhile, former Indian captain Bishan Singh Bedi has demanded to replace Ajinkya Rahane as the permanent captain of the Test in place of Virat Kohli.

Former Indian captain Bishan Singh Bedi was so happy with Rahane’s captaincy that he had made a demand to replace Virat Kohli as Ajinkya Rahane the permanent captain of the Test.

Bishan Singh Bedi said in his column in The Indian Express, “Ajinkya Rahane reminds me of Tiger Pataudi. The way Rahane captained the injured team and led Team India to a 2–1 Test series victory in Australia, he deserves praise.
