Anoop Jalota in ‘Satya Sai Baba’ sequel

Jalota, Sadhika Randhawa, Ekta Jain, Pankaj Berry, Somakshi, Anil Nagrath have acted in the cast of Sathya Sai Baba. “There will be a lot of actors in the sequel, as I will show the various events of Sathya Sai Baba.”

The screenplay and dialogues will be written by Sachindra Sharma, and the film is co-produced by Subhash Sehgal, Ankita and Nikita Srivastava.

The late Lord Satya Sai Baba’s biopic film Sathya Sai Baba was released in cinemas across India on January 29 this year. The film starring Anoop Jalota in the title role opened in four languages.

In an earlier interview to IANS, Jalota talked about knowing God personally. Speaking about the film’s release, he spoke openly on the subject.

“I met Sathya Sai Baba for the first time 55 years ago. I was only 12 years old when I met him in Lucknow, and at that time he listened to me and my father’s hymns and blessed us. Since then I’ve been I was in touch. I went to his ashram in Puttaparthi several times to meet him. I also met him in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Ooty.

I think I would be able to do justice to this role because I knew him well. I am one of his followers, so I knew how he sits, walks, talks and talks with his followers, because I have seen him doing all this.

Sathya Sai Baba was a guru and philanthropist who was born in a Telugu speaking Bhatru family. At the age of 14, he claimed that he was the reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba, and left his home to serve the society. He died in April 2001 at the age of 84.
