The Aussie captain slammed 50 runs off 104 balls, which included six fours. Cameron Green, who was unbeaten from Day 1, lost his wicket to spinner and Test debutant Washington Sundar, after scoring 47 from 107 deliveries. With Paine and Green departing for the pavilion, the Indian bowlers have found it easy to trump the tailenders, with Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon having already lost their wickets.

India have broken Australia’s momentum with crucial wickets, on Day 2 of the ongoing fourth and final Test match, at The Gabba, in Brisbane. Despite putting in a good start on Day 2 for the hosts, Tim Paine lost his wicket to Shardul Thakur after registering his half-century.
