Badshah showcases his culinary skills in ‘Star vs Food Season 2’

Rapper Badshah will be showcasing an unknown avatar of himself in the popular show “Star vs Food Season 2”. While Badshah is known for his catchy rap and singing skills, he will now be seen flaunting his culinary talents.

Badshah would be seen cooking ‘Amritsari Chole Hummus’ and ‘Cheese Kulcha’ along with ‘Jalebi Rabdi Espuma’ under the supervision of Delhi-based Chef Rajesh Sharma in the show this week.

Sharing his thoughts on the overall experience, Badshah said: “I think I have prepared this food from my heart. It was great fun, from cooking the food to serving it to eating it and whatever I learnt from the chef, this entire kitchen vibe has been very therapeutic for me. These moments are priceless.”

While Badshah will be seen cooking the food, ‘Paani Paani’ singer Aastha Gill and a few of his friends will be seen indulging in the delectable items prepared by the rapper!

Discovery+ Star vs Food Season 1 was a huge success as the audience witnessed celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor and Pratik Gandhi struggling to polish their culinary skills. Now, the much-awaited second season of the show will witness Ananya Panday, Anil Kapoor, Badshah, Janhvi Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and Zakir Khan ‘sweat in out’ in order to prepare mouth-watering delicacies for their special guests.

Talking about the show, Janvi Kapoor said in a statement, “The experience of cooking a Korean dish was unparalleled as I was on the knife’s edge this time unlike enjoying my meal in a restaurant.” Overcoming her struggles, she added,” It makes me extremely proud to overcome my kitchen fear and nail something so difficult”.

Canadian dancer Nora Fatehi, whose father is also a chef, stressed how she couldn’t pass on the opportunity of cooking traditional Moroccan food with a renowned professional. ” I always wanted to wear an apron and cook something for my friends and family. Star vs Food is the perfect fit for me and I hope to make my family proud of my cooking skills.”, she added.

Ananya revealed through the episode that she has a big sweet tooth at which the chef was pleasantly surprised. The Student of the Year 2 actor revealed, “I eat everything and then I work out every day.” She also shared that some of her favourite sweet treats are molten cake with ice cream, fudge brownies, chocolate chip cookies and modaks.

Baking looked like a tough task for Ananya as she isn’t used to such precise measurements and temperatures in the kitchen. When the chef asked her if it was as tough as working in the movies, Ananya revealed that her toughest project to date has been Khaali Peeli, where she starred alongside Ishaan Khatter. “Khaali Peeli was pretty challenging, only because of the accent, that Bambaiya accent,” she shared.

Chaos ensues in the kitchen as our favourite celebrities prepare delectable treats with the help of gourmet chefs.

“Star vs Food Season 2” streams on discovery+.

The groovy, upbeat single is expected to be a break from Badshah’s usual lyrical game in the hip hop scene. It will also have a touch of Bali’s wit and dry humour. The music video has been shot against a quirky backdrop.

Talking about the single, Badshah shared: “Feel Hai is a vibe. Bali is an incredibly unique artiste and Feel Hai is my jump at entering a brand new flow. Really looking forward to this one!”

“Feel Hai is a laid back and chill track like no other. Badshah Bhai is doing something never seen before. This is definitely a sound for the masses. Feel Hai Bhai Feel Hai!” added Bali expressing his excitement at the collaboration.

‘Feel Hai’ will be releasing on September 29 under the label of Warner Music India.
