The Hindi film Chichhore, starring the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, won the National Film Award for Best Hindi Film at the 67th National Film Awards. And I am very grateful to Nitesh Tiwari for giving a very special film to all of us. The producer mentioned that he was a fan of SSR and his work in films. He hoped that the award would bring some joy to his family and fans.
Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin, who also starred in the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer, revealed that the film Chhichhore will always be special for him. As Chhichhore won the National Award, Tahir said, “I am incredibly grateful to be a part of Derek and have been a part of Chhichhore.
This will always be a special film for me. Nitesh Tiwari and Sajid Nadiadwala captained the ship, and it was an ace team. The film never let the society decide whether you are a winner or a loser but to fight a lot of the assumptions of these labels and get your happiness.
I feel very good that we have been recognized with the highest award in the country for the film. It certainly deserves all the work that went into making it, and the film is even more special for all of us. “
Kangana bagged her fourth National Film Award for Best Actress in her 2019 films Manikarnika and Panga. The actress had also donned the director’s hat for the film Manikarnika. Meanwhile, Ranaut has earlier been honoured with a National Film Award for Best Actress in films Queen and Tanu Weds Manu.

The actress won the National Film Award for Best Actress in a supporting role for film Fashion. In 2018, South actress Keerthy Suresh won the National Film Award for Best Actress.
