ICC World Cup 2023: Narendra Modi Stadium ready for India vs Pakistan high-voltage match

New Delhi: Arch-rivals India and Pakistan will face each other in a blockbuster clash tomorrow i.e. on 14th October at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It is estimated that lakhs of cricket fans especially from these two countries are going to gather in restaurants, bars, street markets and malls to watch the high-voltage match.

The cricket match between India and Pakistan is one of the most exciting matches in the world, with matches between the two countries receiving significant global audiences. According to a statement on its website, Indian Railways is going to run two special trains a day between Mumbai and Ahmedabad to ease the “extra rush of cricket fans”.

Ahead of the match, the Ahmedabad Police has also issued a notification declaring the city as a “no-drone zone”, reports Times of India.

A pre-match program has been planned by the BCCI before the India vs Pakistan match. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that Bollywood singers Arijit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan and Sukhwinder Singh will perform before the match.

The concert will start at 12:30 pm. Earlier reports said that the event will be held for only half an hour and is expected to start at 12:40 pm and end at 1:10 pm while the toss will take place at 1:30 pm.

The India vs Pakistan match will be telecast live on Indian television via Star Sports channels. Indian viewers can also enjoy free live streaming of these matches on Disney+Hotstar app and website. The match will start at 2 pm.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has given the green signal by predicting clear skies on October 14. IMD Gujarat clarified that even if light or moderate rain occurs, it will be limited to limited areas and will not hamper the match.
