New Delhi: The 21st match of the Indian Premier League (PCS) is being played between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders in Abu Dhabi. Kolkata won the toss and scored 167 runs in 20 overs losing 10 wickets and set a target of 168 runs for victory in front of Chennai. Chennai started well. Watson, Duplecy and Rayudu gave Chennai a good start. But the subsequent batsmen disappointed and Chennai lost the match by 10 runs. Kolkata won the match by 10 runs because of their bowlers. With this win, Kolkata moved to number three in the points table.
Kolkata Knight Riders scored 167 runs batting first. Kolkata today changed its batting order slightly. Today, Rahul Tripathi was sent in place of Sunil Narayan at the opening. Kolkata had the right bet and Tripathi scored 81 runs off 51 balls with 8 checks and 3 sixes. But none of the Kolkata batsmen played with Tripathi. None of the Kolkata batsmen could last long at the crease and the entire team was dismissed for 167 runs in 20 overs. Balling and Fielding of Chennai was good. Apart from Deepak Chahar, all Bollers did economical balling. San Karan, Shardul Thakur and Karn Sharma took 2–2 wickets from Chennai. Darren Bravo took 3 wickets for his team.
On the other hand, Chennai started off a bit slow. Faf Duplesey and Shane Watson gave their team a study start. But Duplecy soon lost his wicket. Ambati Rayudu, who came after this, started collecting runs fast, batting well. Shane Watson also joined him and started scoring fast. Watson scored 50 runs on 40 balls with a six over 6 balls. Rayudu scored 30 runs off 27 balls with 3 boundaries. Dhoni, who came after him, could not last long at the crease and was dismissed by 11 runs. After him no batsman could last much. However, Jadeja tried but could not succeed. Jadeja scored 21 runs on 8 balls with the help of 3 checks and 1 six. But could not win his team. Chennai lost this match by just 10 runs. Kolkata was seen losing this match for 10 overs. But after 10 overs Kolkata’s bowlers overturned the entire match. Almost all the bowlers from Kolkata bowled well and took 1-1 wickets and put the match in their team’s bag.
