Kolkata beat Hyderabad in a thrilling Super Over match

New Delhi: The 35th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Abughabi. Hyderabad won the toss and decided to do the first filming. Kolkata scored 163 for 5 in 20 overs in their first game and set a target of 164 in front of Hyderabad. Hyderabad also managed to score 163 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs and the match was decided by super over. Both Hyderabad batsmen were dismissed by just 2 runs in the super over. Kolkata easily won this match by scoring 3 runs. With this victory, Kolkata reached third place in the points table.

Kolkata got off to a good start today, with Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi coming at the opening to give their team a good start. But Tripathi was dismissed for 29 runs off 19 balls. Gill scored 36 off 28 balls with 7 fours. Nitish Rana, who came after him, scored 29 runs on 20 balls with the help of 3 fours and 1 six. In the end, Ian Morgan quickly scored 34 runs. Dinesh Karthik, who came with him, scored 29 runs on 14 balls with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes, and led his team to a respectable score. Sandeep Sharma, Vijay Shankar and Rashid Khan did economical balloting from Hyderabad.

Hyderabad also had a good start in the second innings with a half-century partnership between Opener Johnny Bairstow and Kane Williamson. Bairstow scored 36 off 28 balls with 7 fours. Williamson scored 29 runs in 19 balls with 4 fours and 1 six. Captain David Warner scored a brilliant 48 off 33 balls with the help of 5 fours. Later Abdul Samad contributed by scoring 23 off 15 balls. All Kolkata bowlers bowled well. Lockie Ferguson took 3 wickets in 4 overs.
