MDH owner, Dharmapala Gulati, died at the age of 98 in Delhi

New Delhi: Mahashya Dharampal Gulati, the owner of MDH, known as Masala King, died in Delhi on Thursday at the age of 98. It is being told that Dharampal Gulati breathed his last at 6 am on December 3 at Mata Chandan Devi Hospital in Delhi.

Mahashya Dharampal Gulati, India came from Pakistan, Dharampal Gulati was born on 27 March 1923 in Sialkot, Pakistan and it was from here that his business was founded. The company started with a small shop in the city, which his father had started before partition. However, at the time of partition of the country in 1947, his family moved to Delhi.

Mr. Gulati was Honoured with Padmavibhushan, last year, President Ramnath Kovind conferred Padmavibhushan on Mahasya Dharampal Gulati for his outstanding contribution in the field of food processing for trade and industry.
