MUMBAI: Music maestro AR Rahman’s daughter Khatija has announced her engagement with aspiring entrepreneur and audio engineer Riyasdin Sheikh Mohammed. The engagement ceremony was an intimate affair and took place only in the presence of close family members and friends.
Taking to her Instagram handle Khatija, who is herself a musician, shared that their engagement took place on December 29 and was attended by close family and loved ones. “With the blessings of the Almighty, I am delighted to announce all my associations with Riyasdin Sheikh Mohammed @riyasdeenriyan, an aspiring entrepreneur and a Wizkid audio engineer. The engagement took place on 29th December, my birthday in the presence of close family And loved ones,” she wrote. Her fiancee Riyasdin wrote in the comments section and wrote, “Grateful to have you in my life. Alhamdulillah.”
Riyasdin also shared a post announcing his engagement with Khatija on social media, which read, “By the blessings of the almighty I announce all my engagements with Khatija Rehman, @khatijaRahman, Musician, Producer & Philanthropist. Happy Birthday. The engagement took place on his birthday on 29th December in the presence of close family and loved ones.”
His fiancee Riyasdin took to the comments section and wrote, “Grateful to have you in my life. Alhamdulillah.”
Riyasdin Sheikh Mohammed describes himself as a live sound engineer on Instagram. He has over 5k followers on Instagram and often shares glimpses of his passion for sound engineering. According to Khatija, he is an aspiring entrepreneur and a Wizkid audio engineer. According to reports, Riyasdin has teamed up with AR Rahman for Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Tamasha’.
Apart from Khatija, AR Rahman are also parents to daughter Rahima and son Amin.
