Rana Daggubati’s ‘1945’ to finally release after a long delay

Hyderabad, December 9: Rana Daggubati’s long pending film ‘1945’ is finally all set to release soon. Directed by Sathyasiva, the Tamil-Telugu film has been in the making for over three years now.

The makers of Rana Daggubati starrer ‘1945’ have announced the release of the period drama on December 31. The announcement came with a poster that featured Rana in a new avatar. He is seen in a fiery pose, with the Union Jack in the background.

Rana will be seen in the role of a constable of Subhas Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army (INA). Actress Regina Cassandra is the leading lady alongside Rana. It also stars Sathyaraj, Nasir and RJ Balaji in pivotal roles.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music, while Satya is the cinematographer of the film ‘1945’. The film was shelved due to differences between the producer and the protagonist.

Rana Daggubati had earlier called the film an “unfinished film” in 2019 and producer S.N. Rajarajan did not pay the dues. Now that the film has cleared all odds, the makers have decided to release it.
