Ravichandran Ashwin becomes second fastest bowler to take 400 wickets in Test cricket history

India’s off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin today became the second fastest bowler to take 400 wickets in Test cricket, making it an achievement during England’s second innings in the third Test in Ahmedabad.

The 34-year-old Jofra Archer reached 400 wickets in his 77th Test match. Former Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan is the fastest bowler to reach 400 wickets in 72 matches.
