Col Nimbalkar paid tribute to Captain Manoj Pandey, his classmate from the Indian Military Academy (IMA) and hero of the Tiger Hill war, at the memorial on his death anniversary. He said, “There are mixed emotions. There is a sense of achievement, but it has come at a great cost. Today is a day for all of us to collectively acknowledge the efforts of our heroes and the sacrifices they made for the nation.”
